Fly Jat Airways and be rewarded for your loyalty with a free ticket! You can take part in this program if you:
- are a child, 2 to 11 years of age (not 12 yet) traveling with a person who must be 16 or older;
- are an unaccompanied child, 5 to 11 years of age (not 12 yet) traveling without an escort;
- are 12 years of age or older;
- have taken, within 12 months from commencing the first flight:
- 10 one-way trips or 5 return trips or any equivalent combination of one way and return international trips, which would entitle you to a free return ticket;
- 5 one-way trips, or 3 one-way trips and a return trip on international services, which would entitle you to a free one-way ticket;
- have commenced your first trip this year or last year;
- have traveled on JU operating flights only (flights operated only by Jat Airways). Please note that tickets used on JU marketing flights (flights bearing the JU code, for which you bought JU tickets, but which are operated by another air carrier) will not make you eligible for the "Extra Flight" program. Jat Airways Agencies and other ticketing agents will inform you at booking whether your flight is a JU operating or marketing flight.
- have traveled using tickets of other air carriers, provided that the whole or part of the trip was operated by Jat Airways;
- have traveled using tickets which are not:
- free tickets or "Extra Flight" tickets;
- tickets with an ID/AD/DM discount;
- tickets issued as part of a tourist or travel packet arrangement;
- have kept and submitted the documents listed below to a Jat Airways Agency/Representative Office/ Sales Agency as proof of having travelled with Jat Airways, namely:
- the ticket cover or passenger coupon in case of paper tickets,
- the passenger receipt in case of an electronic ticket, or
- the boarding-pass,
whereby you will, in effect, have submitted your request for a free ticket.
Jat Airways' rights and liabilities
Jat Airways is obliged to receive your documents as proof of your travel and to give you written confirmation of having received your request for a free ticket. Jat Airways has the right to check all submitted documents and may reject your request if it is not in accordance with conditions stipulated.
If the documents you have submitted are valid and if you have fulfilled all the conditions required for obtaining a free ticket, Jat Airways will issue, within 7 days from the day of receiving the request, order for the issue of a free ticket. Based on this, the Jat Airways Agency / Representative Office to which your request was submitted shall issue a free ticket.
Your rights and liabilities
The order is valid three months from the date of issuance and you are obliged to buy a ticket within this period.
In exceptional cases, the validity of the order may be extended for three months, provided you submit a written request for validity extension to a Jat Airways Agency/ Representative Office/ Sales Agency. You can deliver the request either personally or by electronic mail. Requests for validity extension should be submitted toward the end of the validity period of the initial order but you can also submit your request after the expiry of this term. The extension of validity will always be valid from the date of expiry of the initial validity term.
You may transfer your right to a free ticket to another person, if you wish. In that case you should submit your written request for transfer of right, either personally or by electronic mail, to a Jat Airways Agency/ Representative Office or Sales Agency before Jat Airways has issued your free ticket.
Free ticket
Exceptionally, if the majority or all your trips were made at fares which include transport between two cities outside of Serbia via Belgrade, Jat Airways will give you a free ticket for such a trip, if you wish (e.g. in case of a RT ticket, for travel: AMS-BEG-SKP-BEG-AMS or in case of an OW ticket, for travel: TIV-BEG-LON).
The free ticket is our gift to you, but you are obliged to pay all airport and other taxes, and charges related to your trip.
In the case of an unaccompanied child, additional handling charge (UM surcharge) must be paid as specified.
Free tickets are issued only for JAT operating flights (flights only operated by Jat Airways). Free tickets are not issued for JU flights where Jat Airways is the marketing carrier, while the flight is operated by another air carrier.
You are entitled to a free ticket in the same class (Business or Economy) in which you traveled on the majority of your trips.
A ticket is valid one year from the date of issuance, provided that the return trip is commenced on the last day of ticket expiry, at the latest.
You may change your reservation after the ticket has been issued, but re-routing is not permitted. Reservation changes are permitted within the ticket validity period.
Refunds
If you fail to use your "Extra Flight" free ticket you will be entitled to a refund of all airport and other taxes and charges you were charged in regard to your unused free tickets.
