Jat Airways will provide free health insurance for all passengers traveling to the European Union Countries, valid during the flight and throughout the whole stay. Earlier, in order to obtain visa, Serbian citizens, whose health insurance cards are not valid in the European Union Countries, were compelled to pay additional insurance. Now, by buying Jat Airways return-trip ticket, their insurance will be covered and in case of emergency, medical help will be provided to them. The insurance company that submits most favorable terms in response to the public procurement tender will render this new service of Serbian flag carrier. Tender procedure will be closed on January 4, 2010 at 11:00 hours.

As of December 1, Jat Airways offers to its passengers who decide traveling from Belgrade to Schengen countries in period between December 19, 2009 and January 12, 2010 tickets at very favorable prices, beginning from 19 euros for one-way ticket (tax and additional costs not included). This way, Jat Airways has offered a large number of seats for total number of 19 European destinations. Now, with all taxes and additional costs included, it is possible to travel from Belgrade to Paris for 102 euros or from Belgrade to Rome for 95 euros.
