As part of reform measures intended to allow the overall reorganization of the company, Jat Airways plans a revision of representative offices abroad, in order to justify their existence as well as to determine their optimal size. At the moment, Jat Airways has 34 representative offices in 28 countries, with 131 employees.
The goal is to examine the business operation and justify operating costs of every representative office, in order to increase their efficiency, create additional savings and determine further steps that would provide positive operation of the company.
"Annually, we receive significant income from abroad, but certain sum is spent on representative offices. Our goal is to increase the sale abroad, but at the same time decrease costs. In order to achieve this, it is necessary to determine facts, analyze actual data regarding business operation of representative offices and justify the existing costs" - said Srdjan Radovanović, Jat Airways Director General, adding that special attention will be dedicated to the way every representative office manages its resources. |
